The challenge
A 7-year-old SaaS product had accumulated so much technical debt that shipping new features took months. The monolithic PHP backend couldn't scale, the frontend was jQuery spaghetti, and deployments required a full weekend.
Our solution
We rebuilt the platform incrementally: Next.js frontend, Node.js microservices backend, PostgreSQL + Redis. Strangler fig pattern — we migrated feature by feature while keeping the old system running. Full CI/CD pipeline with automated testing, blue-green deployments, and infrastructure as code.
