The challenge
An EdTech startup had developed a concept for an education platform that helps students master subjects using neuroscience-based memorization techniques — specifically spaced repetition. They had an early prototype, but it was riddled with bugs, had a confusing interface, and lacked essential features. The platform needed to serve three distinct user types — students, teachers, and parents — each with different workflows. The startup also wanted a built-in marketplace where teachers could sell educational content. They needed a development partner who could take a rough MVP and turn it into a production-ready product under tight time-to-market constraints.
Our solution
We completely redesigned the platform UI with a fresh color palette and intuitive navigation, then fixed all critical bugs in the existing codebase. We built custom dashboards for each user role: students see progress metrics and upcoming lessons, teachers manage content and track class performance, and parents monitor their children's academic progress. The core learning engine uses spaced repetition algorithms to optimize long-term retention. We also built a content marketplace within the platform, enabling teachers to create, price, and sell educational materials directly to students. A promotional website was created to drive signups.
