The challenge
AcceptBlue, a US fintech company, needed a secure and versatile payment gateway capable of handling transactions across multiple channels — mobile apps, eCommerce storefronts, Point of Sale (POS) terminals, and traditional mail/telephone orders. The platform had to process high transaction volumes with sub-second latency while meeting PCI DSS Level 1 compliance. The core challenge was integrating diverse payment technologies into a single, reliable system without compromising security or user experience across any channel.
Our solution
We built a unified payment gateway that supports both card-present and card-not-present transactions across all four channels through a single REST API layer. Mobile SDKs enable native in-app payments, eCommerce plugins provide drop-in checkout for major platforms, and POS integration handles in-person transactions. End-to-end encryption and tokenization protect cardholder data at every step. The architecture was designed for horizontal scalability, ensuring consistent sub-second authorization and settlement even during peak transaction periods.
